Ridwan Sanusi

Ridwan Sanusi is a leading voice of Islamic Finance in Nigeria. A composite finance and investment professional with 9 years of experience in banking, management consulting, financial training and coaching.

He is a member of the global accountancy body, ACCA, a Certified Financial Education Instructor, and a Certified Finance Islamic Executive.

He left his job as a leading facilitator in one of the most prestigious management-consulting firms in the country to start a personal finance training and coaching outfit (@muslimfinancecoach) targeted at helping Muslims to attain financial freedom through smart money management and investment decisions.

In his job as a finance and investment coach, he helps Muslims to screen and identify various halal investment opportunities across the world.

In January 2021, he founded the smart halal investor club. A global community of like-minded individuals who are passionate about growing their wealth the halal way. In 6 months, the club has invested over N420million in credible business opportunities both within and outside Nigeria. With a membership base of over 100 members from more than 9 countries across different parts of the world, the club is helping its members build generational wealth that are in line with their faith and values. He is on a personal mission to help over 10,000 Muslims achieve financial freedom within the next 5 years.

Alhaja Adebanke Basirat Badmus

Alhaja Adebanke Basirat Badmus is the PRO National Orientation Agency Oyo State.

A media consultant/ CEO BankNote Media Communications.

She has a HND in Mass Communications from the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic and Masters degree in Managerial Psychology at the university of Ibadan.

An independent Broadcast journalist, she also does Public Relations Consultancy, Jingles/Voice over productions and Event Compere.

She is a member of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) and Associate member, Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
She’s supporting Ma Salam Group of Schools in Ibadan to achieve their objectives.

Adebanke is also a Trustee of The Layi Adedoyin Foundation (LAF).

Ridwanullah Kayode Jamiu

Ridwanullah Kayode Jamiu is the Chief Imam of Lekki Central Mosque in Lagos, Nigeria. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Common and Islamic Law.

He specialises in Islamic Finance and Islamic Estate Planning. He’s an author of many books, a counselor and a Hafiz of The Qur’an. He is married with children

Mrs Shakeerah Aderonke Isegen

Shakeerah is a professional Dental Therapist and currently works with the Dental Therapist Registration Board as Head and Coordinator of South East Geopolitical Zone of the Agency. She is a Human Resource Manager with MBA in that field. Prior to working with the Dental Therapist Registration Board, she was with the Federal Medical Centre, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. 

Shakeerah is highly respected for discipline and integrity, two values that have earned her sensitive positions in both private and public life. She is a two term chairperson of in-house ICPC Chapter of her Agency. A long standing member of both the Editorial Board and the Accreditation Committee of Dental Therapist Registration Board. A strong member of Lekki Muslim Ummah which see her serving in different capacities such as Ramadan Committee Member, Finance Committee Member, Welfare Committee Member to mention but a few. She is a selfless personality well known to be sympathetic towards the course of the less privilege and downtrodden and have been involved in humanitarian and philanthropic services for the larger part of her life.

Mrs. Isegen studied Dental Therapy with MBA in Human Resources Management. She is a Member of Nigerian Institute of Management as well as Dental Therapist Association and happily married with children.

Adebola Morufat Adedoyin

Adebola Adedoyin is a senior professional with over 10 years progressive career growth in Accounting in the UK. She holds a Diploma and BSc in Accounting and Finance from Oxford Brookes University, and after completing her graduate training programme and passed her ACCA exams, went on to receive her Membership Certification from The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, United Kingdom.

Growing up in a large family in humble surroundings has its disadvantages but what Adebola benefited from is an environment in which she learned to be independent, live and work with people as well as develop her communication skills, team work and love and respect for others. With charitable and giving
deeds running in the family and citing her late father as her main role model and inspiration behind her passion for charity and humanitarian work, Adebola was quick to develop the passion for activism, which she learned from her parents of whom she shared the same values and mindset. 

Since 2009 she started volunteering as Finance Committee for Blossom fitness in North London, supporting a fitness non-for profit organization that is focused on empowering women to help them stay healthy and achieve their fitness goals through offering fitness and health classes around West London and have been making a difference by participating in fundraising events, helping them to bring their books up to date, assisting with grant applications etc. In 2017, following the outcry of enslavement of Africans in Libya and other North African and Arab countries, she formed a movement together with three other passionate women, called ‘End Slavery’ in which they worked hard to bring awareness and proposed resolution to these issues, including organizing and attending rallies/protests, benefit concerts, handing out leaflets, social media campaign etc.

Adebola has a variety of hobbies which includes health and fitness, playing sports, travelling and exploring different cultures and food and spending time with family.

 

Rekia Ifeoluwa Sarumoh

Rekia is an independent development professional with 11years experience. She has worked on diverse projects including health, child labor and education and has completed projects with the International Labor Organization (ILO), United States Agency for International Development (USAID), FCT Agency for the Control of HIV/AIDS (FACA)amongst others. She is currently working on a bilingual education project with the Islamic Development bank (IDB).

She graduated from the Federal University of Technology Minna with a B.Tech degree in Mathematics and Computer science and has various trainings and certifications in Project Management as well as Monitoring and Evaluation.

Rekia loves to volunteer and currently volunteers for Tony May Sickle Cell Foundation and the Lekki Muslim Ummah’s Welfare Unit (LEMU Welfare). She is currently on the board of STEM Center (SN&PS) and the Serum Oladosu Sarumoh Foundation.

She is friendly, family-oriented, loves to learn new things and loves sharing knowledge.

I cannot help everyone and I surely cannot do it all alone, however, I intend to help as much as Almighty Allah has blessed me, one person, one community, one household at a time!
